Our Mission

The Kenya International Chamber Music Festival- KICF- is centered around 5 main goals:

• Raising the caliber of string playing in East Africa

• Developing an approach that integrates the rhythms of language, enthusiasm, vitality, and discipline. 

• Actively nurturing community engagement

• Cultivating new audiences

• Creating sustainable and viable career paths for young musicians in East Africa.

• Supporting KICF apprenticeship in connection with the Eugenia String Project

• Fostering Partnerships
